Default Can someone help me figure out how to make the center of this octopus?

I have a customer that wants an octopus bow & I really like this one. I can't figure out how they did the head part. Do you think they use some kind of stiffening agent? If so, what? Thanks!

No they dont.... put your pieces of ribbon in an asteric shape, glue all the centers together, then just glue the bottomd together. Im not sure if that made any kind of sense... Its just ribbon, it keeps that shape....

Oh ok, so it will hold that ball shape without anything? That seems simple, I just thought it would fall. Thanks so much!

I was able to play around last night & this is what I came up with. My customer requested a light pink octopus with a light blue bow.

Cute! I like using swiss dots for my tentacles so it looks like they have suckers on them...
