Gator bite

I was thinking of purchasing this product from Lamb. Wonder if anyone had one and what their thoughts were on it. I think I make bow pretty good but usualy not on the first or secound try.

I think yours looks good! I've never tried the Gator bite but alot of ladies use the big clips from Sallys.

I say it's totally worth the $$. I've never tried a clip from Sally's though, but I was looking at some of the bows I did last year without it and they are horrible compared to the crease, etc. I get with my gator bite. I love it! It took me a few times to get used to using it as I can't get my thread to hold tight like she does in the video, so I pull mine tight and then thread it back through to make a knot on the back side and that's how I get mine to stay.

I can't get my creases right without it. I have tried the Sally clip & it doesn't work quite so well for me either. There is a bit of a learning curve on keeping ahold of everything to get it in the clip but it definitely gives you nice creases.

I do the same thing with mine!! LOL...I have to say that I love my gator bite as well...I haven't regretted the purchase

I use the jumbo clips from sally's to get my crease...I think it works pretty good!

I use the sally clips too. I am happy with it. More importantly, it was $2.50 for a package of 5.

I recently bought the Gator Bite Combo (came with some bow instructions)...I tossed the instructions because it wasn't anything useful for me. I've tried the Gator Bite once and was unsuccessful with it. I guess I'm just used to hand creasing my bows.

I use the sally clip for pinwheel, everything else I weave my needle through to get my creases where I want them.
