Default TUTU dress

My Friend is wanting me to make a tutu dress like the one in the picture for her daughter. She is wanting it with flower the flower in the middle of the ribbon. Any suggestions on how I would do this. I usually make the tutu skirts have never made the tutu dress before. andy help will help. TIA

I've made a couple this style, I've just made it basically like you would a tutu skirt, just longer. Tie the ribbon at the waist like in the picture or I have used the crochet elastic for mine, just weave the tulle through the top row of the crochet and out the bottom row. The top is just ribbon weaved through the tulle.
Here's mine with the crochet waist:

What does the back of your dress look like? Do you use elastic around the top of the dress and then when you do the ribbon do you just weave it in and out? THanks

Agreed. It's a regular tutu, just with longer strips and a satin wrapped waistband area. The waistband is pulled up around her chest. Then, the actual waist is pulled together with a ribbon.

I finally got my Friends flower girl dress done. she loves it. The picture I took dosen't show the colors that great but it is brighter green and brown. Thanks for all your all ladies!
