Default Question on using the spellbinders nestabilities dies with a big shop

I posted about these on my blog: http://fabricbowsandmore.blogspot.com/

Question for you is there a pad I can used instead of a piece of felt on top of the fabric to cut these? Of course the pad will have to be something that does not cut through. I finally got it tocut the fabric but only when I put the felt on top of the fabric.

I've found the only way I can really cut fabric with nestabilities is to use a piece of cardstock with each cut. I don't think there are any pads to shim fabric. Maybe it depends on which machine you use. I use a cuttlebug.

I bought the Spellbinders rubber pad. I thought they were for embossing vs. cutting, but I got them at Joann's with a coupon. They had them in-store.

I haven't used the spellbinders yet, but when I use the cuttlebug dies in my big shot, I use a piece of craft foam under the bottom glass sandwich. Not sure that's any better than what you're doing, but thought I'd throw it out there.
