Default Feather headband question.

I am working on making some feather headbands. I am using feather pads. The one I am working on I have attached 3 small rolled roses to the feather pad, my question is how do I attach the father pad to the headband? I want to use the thin elastic headbands, but I feel like it's going to be flimsy. Do you just glue the pad directly on the headband? or do you glue the headband between the pad and maybe a piece of felt?

Any help is appreciated

Default Re: Feather headband question.

i made one with a peacock pad on a skinny headband for my dd last year. I traced out the same shape as the pad onto a piece of felt. I glued the pad to the headband, then glue the piece of felt onto the back. Instead of rolled roses I had a satin black bow with a rhinestone button. It looked adorable. Have fun

You got it:-)
Just make sure you have a decent sized piece of felt and keep your glue as smooth as possible so it doesn't dry with glue gun tracks on the inside!
