Default Boutique bow lay flat

What is the trick or is there one to get the boutique bow to lay flatter? mine stand up and if there not heavily starched they look all floppy

Its the angle of the ribbon. When you fold make it almost a 90 degree angle.....so when your ribbons cross they are 90 not like 60 or 75 degrees.

If you are using the figure 8 "cheaters" way your loops need to be pretty skinny, rather than being fat.

When I first started all of my bows were flat, (not intentionally). The more I made, the more fluffy they became. Now I want to make them flat, and just can't get the hang of not putting to much of an angle on them.
