Default Tutu Slip Knot Waistband

Hi all. Just a quickie, for all those who slip knot their tutus with 2 or 3 layers of tulle per knot - how does your waistband look? I'm doing mine via slip knot with 2 layers and am finding the knots are looking a bit bulky. When I have made them single knotted I have been complimented on how tidy the waistband looks and find that "picky" buyers seem to notice the waistband. I'd like to be able to put 3 layers on the one knot to get a bit more poof, but I can't seem to get the knot tight enough or small enough that it looks any good. Would love to see pics of a waistband with 3 or more layers in their knots if anybody has any.
