~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What's the best (and neatest) way to attach crystals? I made one bow where I used E6000 and just rubbed the glue on while I held the crystal. It kept moving and I couldn't get it exactly where I wanted on the bow without spreading glue around. What have you found is the best way? Would Tweezers help?
Hot fix crystals have glue on them already. There's a tool to use with them, it's called a rhinestone setter and it comes with different tips to fit the different size crystals. You plug it in and it gets hot. You just put a hot fix crystal in it and it heats up the glue on the bottom of the crystal. Then you adhere it to your project. Voila!
I know they have it HL...I've seen it there before, but they're for crystals with glue on them already. If you need more than one coupon, you know you can print them off their site. Just have your DH buy something for you with another coupon.
I use swarovski flat back and use E6000 to attach them. They NEVER fall off. If you use a bamboo skewer and have a dollop of glue on a paper plate or napkin then touch your flat side of the skewer in it then touch a rhinestone(on the flat side of course) it is the perfect size and then you just place it where you want. I've been doing it for a few years with my daughter's dance costumes and haven't lost one yet. We also rhinestone the heels of their tap shoes and they chip them but never actually knock them off.
