How do you make Mini Bow Snap Clips?

I LOVE the mini bow snap clips Michelle sells on her site. How do you make them so perfect? How are they attached? Are they sewn? Gimme the scoop, please! I gotta have some!!!

Oh, I hate making mini snap clips. All you do is line the snap clip. Make your bow completely and then glue it to the top of the covered snap clip.

Hmm...I guess it's the "make your bow completely" part that I don't understand. Can you break it down for me. Sorry, I should be in "bow making for dummies"

Here is my 'secret': I bought the premade minibow (just like other appliques)

ohh cheater cheater pumpkin eaters (as my daughter's would say). I bought some from michelle to try, they are cute. For the handmade ones. I use two styles, the boutique and what they call a abc fold. I make it w/ 3/8" ribbon and center is 1/8" ribbon. fold, tie and attach the center. like making the bow w/o a clip. then glue the back of the bow on the top of the snap clip. I find this easier if the clip is open, it make a pocket to nestle the bow into. test it by opening it and closing it to make sure it dosen't come off or the ribbon the snap clip dosne't come loose.

Oh!! My!! LOL

I make the bows myself. I use 6 in of 3/8 grosgrain- fold in half then fold again. Use the creases to make the bow. Then I use needle and thread- weave needle thru center to get the cute folded look- wrap around severeal times- then stick the needle thru the thread (I like to use dental floss) and knot. I am becoming VERY fast.. LOL and do this when I watch TV. For the center part- I use 1/8 - or 1/4 whatever I have in that color - lol- and just tie around the middle.

I saw a magazine that was selling the little bows and I may just end up going to that. I dunno yet.

woot woot!! I'm so thrilled that you all responded. idk, I guess I thought no one would answer. You all do such great work...all of you. I'm definately thinking I'll buy some of Michelle's "cheater" bows. teehee I say that with MUCH love, Michelle! ((hugs)) If I could make bows like you, I'd be tickled pink!
