I second the tut for the first one! LOL Those are so easy to make and look so cute!

I think for the butterfly, it is the same method as if you were making leaves. It looks simple and very cute!

do i glue the wings on the inside of the clip, i wish i knew what the inside looked like

I think I would glue the wings on the clip before putting the top lining on. That way they are in between your clip and the lining and you don't see the ends.

I just got done making 455 of the first flower. I do that same in the tut that was posted except I also gather down both the short side of the ribbon. I start at the top of the width of the ribbon go down, then down the entire length of the ribbon and then back up the width of the ribbon. It pulls and gathers the ends in (give it a little more of a finish edge look.) Boy I some of that made sense. I then gather it tight so it is in a ball. then start with one end and start rolling it to get the flower effect. This is the sizes I use for each size of ribbon I use.
5/8- 17 inches
7/8- 27 inches
1.5- 37 inches
