Default For all you chiffon flower folks...

PLEASE help me!

I've opted for the harder & more frustrating route and I'm cutting, sewing and ruching my own chiffon for those adorable flowers/rosettes. While some look good, I'm really struggling with how to start, then wrap the trim so that it all looks even. Can anyone direct me to a great tut or blog?

Here are pics of mine -- pink one is tulle with a center (all by hand), green is chiffon i sew into that bubble and then the purple is chiffon with raw edges, but you can see it doesn't look "clean" and I want it to look like the one I posted

No worries! I mean, it's in the eye of the beholder right? My chiffon flowers might be just fine for someone else, but I really want them to look more shabby

My biggest issue is rolling them onto something without getting glue everywhere or having the sides even

The chiffon flowers like the one on Etsy are machine sewn onto a base made of tulle or mesh. I would like to see instructions for them also.

I'm not sure you'll be able to replicate the look by hand, since those flowers are machine sewn onto a backing. No glue involved.
