So sorry The crease is definitely the most important part in my opinion but once you get it...YOU GET IT! Don't fret!

I had some video tutorials on this. Let me see if I can find them again.

I use embroidery thread to wrap around the center to hold it, then I can adjust the folds and creases. Then I wrap my center ribbon around.

Try pinning it to a stiff pillow. That's how i do mine. It helps a ton!

I agree with all the PP. It is SOO frustrating! I would literally throw my bows because they didnt turn out right! I think it took me a year to get my TBB where I wanted it without having to re-do it over and over. Now it is second nature, but it takes time..I hated when people would say that over this forum, but now I get it. It finally just clicked with me one day.

You will get it!

I really found bowmaking hard when I started. I'd say it took me a good year to get the bows the way I wanted them. And not everyone's tutorials work for every person -- sometimes something you see in one will make things "click" for you. But beyond that, it just takes practice, as the other girls have said. The twisted boutique bow is the hardest, and it's even hard with templates.

You'll get it, though! I know you will

I make all mine by hand. I don't use any templates. Mine have always turned out better by measuring by hand and folding!

LOL haven't we all done that! I wish I could take back some of those first pieces!

Post a photo... people will help tell you what you're doing wrong. They'll even draw little arrows on it showing where you should be tugging, etc.

My best creasing came when I learned where to put the stitches. Sewing the center isn't enough. You need to place your stitches so it puckers the right way.

Practice. It'll get better!
