Default Petti Tutu

I love this type of tutu!! I really would like to make ones like this:

http://strawberrierose.etsy.com/

If this is anyone here your work is great!!

Here is how mine turned out. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can make mine look as good as strawberrierose?

Don't worry about hurting my feelings. I have my big girl panties on today.

Looks like you need to start by adding more of the purple. I know several people do multiple strands per section there, and LOTS of knots! Then adding a piece to each end will make it super full.

When you say lots of knots what do you mean exactly? I tied one knot on each piece and then added one or two pieces of fluff but it still doesn't look quite right. Thanks for the feedback.

Your's look every bit as Beautiful as the other sellers. I'm gona tell you one Difference is the Pic it's self . Having your pic look like a professional Has taken it can Make all the difference in the world. Lighting does wonders for thing's. So put your tutu on a Black back ground and make sure you have good lighting and it will look Just as Beautiful to you.

I think you need more layers. I have never done a petti tutu so I could be wrong. If you made a tutu with more layers it would start out fuller and be more puffy when you are done. I make some layered tutus where I do three seperat layers of knots and each knot uses two strips of tulle. I will attach a pic so you can see what I mean.

Thanks Ladies for all the help. I think the next one I try I will do more layers and see how that turns out. I totally agree about the pictures but I was just in hurry before I went to work yesterday and wanted to see if anyone could give a few pointers.

If anyone else has some pointers I would love to hear them!! This was my first petti tutu and I really want to get better.
