I have tried many kinds and my favorite is the Poly Satin (I believe that's what it is LOL) from Hobby Lobby. It singes and curls beautifully. Not sure if it is the Poly Satin, but it is the $2.99 per yard "satiny" fabric! LOL

Count me in on this one too.....I also found some satiny ugly old woman shirts that I bought for $1 and they make super cute flowers

Exactly this. Someone else mentioned this here. I tried it. It was wonderful. I don't even mess with trying others now.

Yay! Thanks, I just ordered some. I bought some kind of satin-y fabric from JoAnns a little bit back and it literally melted before it would curl...didn't want to try again without a better idea of what would work!
