Default Help with Strawberries

I have a Strawberry Festival coming up that I will be a vendor at and have been trying to make the Strawberry Clippies, I am going by the instructions from here and need them smaller than the instructions. Has anyone made one smaller and have any tips for me? The green part is what I am having trouble with. Thanks a bunch

Lori

Yes, I am having a hard time on the measurements for the stem part, do you know the length of your ribbon for that part? Thanks bunches!

I don't remember the measurements- I think the berry part was 2 inches.. and then I cut the first green piece at 2 inches- and the top of the green at 2 inches.. and then after everything was glued into place- I trimmed it untill it looked right.

I hope that makes sense. Every one of the berries I make are different- I just adjust here and there.

I just put a post up yesterday about this. I made some last night and I used 7/8 inch ribbon for the berry part (although I cut it to be about 5/8th inch- just didn't have any on hand). I think I used about 2 inches for that. Then for the stem I used 3/8 inch green, one piece was 1.25inches and the other was 2 inches.

I will post a pic in a bit.

I did a little one on a bow using 3/8" ribbon. I made the stem with 3/8" that I cut in half and sealed with a lighter - I've also done it with 1/4" and it works. It was easy to make...

Here's my pic of the bow I did last night. I still need to perfect it a bit, but I wanted to get one done so my daughter could wear it today.
