Default Best Fray Stop Solution

Ladies,

I'm looking for the best Fray Stop solution available out there. I tried Dritz Fray Check brand, but I have some dark brocade fabric and it doesn't dry clear. My fabric got darker on the edges after I applied it. So, I thought if there is a better brand that would not do that and dry clear on all type of fabrics. Can anyone recommend? Perhaps there is a better way to fight fray fabric edges?

Please don't offer candle, tried that and burned a lot of fabric.

Thank you.
