Default Wood cutout bow holder help please

I have about 2 dozen painted wood cut outs that I wanted to make into bow holders. I have the general concept of how to make them, but I was wondering if there is a tutorial or something like instructions of the nicest way to make them.

I would love to get at least a couple made for my show this weekend, but as of right now I don't think I am going to get them done. Maybe I will have them for next weekends show.

Thanks!

Does anyone make these? I know that this isn't exactly "bows", but it holds them. LOL

I know there was a group buy a while back for these things. What did you all end up making out of them? I have so many of these that I found on sale. I hate just leaving the in a tub, ya know? Some of them are so cute.

Thanks for all your ideas.

I just glue the ribbon on the back and then glue felt on top of that.

I do the same i dont use the felt though. i will either put a ribbon loop to hang it from or i will use a comand(i am not too sure that what they are called i think thats the brand) hook. that makes them easy to remove they are kinda like velco and they dont leave marks or holes in the wall. HTH

I made some for my dd... I cut the ribbon the length I wanted and at the top added a 'd' hook. Folded the ribbon over the 'd' hook and hot glued it. Then I hot glued the ribbon to the back of the wooden duck I had. At the bottom I folded up the ribbon and hot glued it to finish off the seam, but I am sure if you sealed the ribbon that would be fine. Mine turned out cute and the 'd' hook is how it attaches to the wall. Hope this helps!

oh and make sure your ribbon that you hang the bows from is not to short. Make sure that you have plenty of room for all types of bows. Some times if the cutouts are too small i tend to make the ribbon shorter to make it look better. but when i do there is never enough room or all my DD bows. I sell them and they sell much better in like a package deal with a bow. HTH

This is a pic of how I finish my ribbon ends. I just heat fuse them with the Heat n Bond 3/8 wide tape and iron on. Super simple and quick, and looks really clean when your done.
