This might be a silly question, but can you make them with a different type of material??? I remember reading somewhere that someone had made these using shoe laces??. I know its not the same, not as bulky etc but just a thought?

yep you can make them with different things at HL they have some cord that is like the paracord but it is for crafts but you can't really advertise it as paracord or for survival because the paracord is 7 strands and can hold 550 pounds but for something for just looks the cord at HL would do fine.

here is mine that i made myself! i love making them but the only thing would be the sizing! and there will always be alot of paracording to make a small bracelet!

Not silly at all! The whole appeal of them is that they look cute and are a double duty item. They are meant to be able to be taken apart and the cord used for different things. You could deffinately MAKE them with something else, but they lose a little bit of their appeal.

My sister makes these....i was thinking for my first show in may that i would get her to make some for it....i didnt know if they would sell or not....im tryin to figure out a price....do u know the going rate for them
