Default Bottlecap help

I finally have all my supplies to make bottlecap necklaces However I am a little scared to start lol

I plan on using resin drops and attaching my image using my xyron sticker maker. My question is do I need to seal my image? or am I good to go? I have read that some people use modge podge to seal their images.

Any help is appreciated.

It depends on how you print the images. I sent them to Walgreen's once and the ink ran when I poured the resin. I started printing them on our laser printer at home and I haven't had any problems. I tried sealing with ModPodge, but it shows and I don't like it.

I ordered mine pre-cut, I'm pretty sure it's printed on photo paper.

I would just pour a few and see if the ink holds up.

I just re-read your post and saw you are using drops. You shouldn't have any problems.

I print mine at costco and use the sticker maker also. I make sure I use the permanent adhesive for it. I never had any issues with the ink. I also use drops.

Just make sure after you stick the images on the caps, you let them sit for 24 hours so the adhesive has time to really stick before you put the drops on. My images were lifting and someone gave me this advice. It made all the difference

I use the resin drops on the inside of the cap and have had no problem with the image smearing. I don't do anything to seal it.

I have a question about the resin drops. Like I said, I use the drops on the inside of the cap because I'm scared to death that they won't hold up on the top. Do any of you put the resin drops on the top of the cap, and if so does it hold up to rain, etc.?

No, you only seal them if you use liquid resin

A question since u mention your making necklaces where did you buy the hole punch? I need one but can't find it locally.
