Default Tuxedo Bow Question

I made these for older girls (6, 7. 8 years of age) What size of french barrette should I use. I used 1 1/2 on these but they seem too small yet I don't want them to be too big that they slip easily. Thanks

Weeelllll, for my 7 fixin' to be 8 yr. old I use the 70mm. She wore it all day at school and it didn't budge.

Thanks! That is done with the natural setting on my Fugi. I think that one was taken outside on a white piece of paper when it was cloudy and then I lightened it a little because it was a bit dark. If you have ideas for great pics I would love to hear them. I struggle all of the time to get my stuff to look good in pics.

I'm just going to add, that it depends on the child's hair too. I can't even wear 70mm bows and it stay in. I use the 50's for my almost 7 year old dd and 60's for myself, my hair is some thicker than hers. I'd use a variety and see which works for what type of hair. It's amazing that you can get such a variety of sizes in these things!!
