Default Ok to hot glue embellishments?

Is it ok to hot glue embellishments instead of using E6000?

I am asking because E6000 gives me horrible migraine headaches, even with ventilation or when using it outside.

I use both, it just depends on what type of embellishment I am using. I have found that even with a high temp glue gun, some embellishments hold better with e6000. I haven't had any problem with the embellishments that I attach with a glue gun. Sorry to hear about your headaches, lately I have been having a problem with the fumes coming from my wood burner. For some reason some ribbons smell worse than others. Hth and hope you feel better.

Have you try the hot fix jewels. Some of those tiny ones are really hard to keep from looking messy with glue showing off the sides. With the hot fix stones you don't have to worry about that cause the glue is already on the back of the stones.

Do the hot fix jewels stay put? Is that the ones that have "iron on" written on the package? Thanks for your help!

The are very durable. They usually have them near the iron on transfers in hobby lobby or michaels. Search "hot fix" on here and you will find all the info you need. Hth

I have always wondered about these. Do you have to have a hot fix tool to put them on?

I bought one from hl, but it was cordless and would eat up batteries like crazy. So I just use my wood burner, Im really used to using it and haven't had any problems.
