Default 1/8" elastic headband-HELP

OK ladies I try not to bother you too much..But I do have a question about the 1/8" skinny flat elastic...I am trying to make headbands with them for my shows and I am gluing them together however I am doing something wrong because I cannot get the ends to stay sealed together..Am I supposed to over lap the ends and glue them together that way??THANK YOU FOR ALL THE HELP..

I do overlap them and glue them together w/ hot glue. If I'm adding a flower or whatever I normally put a piece of felt over top.. but if not I leave it overlapping (just make the glue not look bad) and then they can put whatever clips they want.

Yes, overlap with hot glue, so easy and stays together great

I do it two diff. ways. Either overlap with fabric tac and pinch it for a minute OR just take a felt circle and hot glue the two ends on but don't have them touching. This allows for a little more stretch and then put the flower on top.
