Default How do you make these?

Well the most important question would be how to attach it to the elastic so it won't come off

I know some people have used a button back with a shank. Used E6000 to attach it and went from there.

It looks like it is attached somehow with wire if you look at the third photo, but I have no idea how to do that.

I would glue in a felt pad with E6000 and then glue it to the pony tail holder and cover with a felt circle. The same way you would attach an embellishment to a headband.

To me it looks like she looped wire through a button and the elastic. Then she glued the button inside the bottle cap. Clever idea

I use the acrylic ones from here

http://www.buttonshanks.com/

Looks to me like she may have pulled the wire out of the back of a regular cover button and then used wire to wire on the ponyo, I would think that it would putt the way

It looks like she threaded the wire through the bottle cap maybe before she put the image on. In the first image the ponytail holder on the right you can see a bump in the middle of Hannah's face which makes me think the wire goes all the way through the bottle cap. Just my opinion tho and if that is how it is done wont the image eventually come off??

I love the shank idea and would still look nice and neat. @ThreeBlessingsBoutique - what size would you advise for bottle caps? I am no good at judging the size of the shanks, etc. and would hate to get too small or too big. Lol!
