Default Will someone critique my rolled flower?

Please?

I gave it a whirl tonight as DD said she wanted a teal flower for a headband.

I know I need/want to get the center rolled tighter, but this was my "rough" draft.

Suggestions? The good, bad and ugly, please!!

I make a knot for my center, usually.

just looks like it need to be tighter but im not positive because i just started these not to long ago myself the nice thing about them though i think is they are hard to get wrong because i think anyway they should look unique like a real flower and not all the same

Thanks!

So you just knot the end that you start at and start rolling from there?

I usually do a knot as my center as well. So I say, tighten up the center and you are good to go.

You could also add a pearl, rhinestone, or button to the center if you don't love the center. I love rolled flowers because even if they don't look the same as someone else's I think most of them are pretty in their own way! I think it looks great!

I love that everyone's is unique. Don't worry about being exactly the same as someone else you have seen. It looks good!

I think it looks great! And like someone else said, one of the great things about them is that no two are the same but that's part of what makes them unique. Heck, no two of mine ever look the same and it took me forever (and looking at several tuts) to figure it out. LOL
