You just glue 4 colors together...meaning, cut each piece of your ribbon to length, glue 2 pieces together (about 3/4 inch down) so that they create one continuous strand, fold in half at the joint and begin weaving (you weave the 4 strands as 2...make sense?), note: the colors facing you when you begin will be your interior colors...and the colors facing the back will end up being the outside of the weave....hope that helps!

I bought mine from Lorraine at littlecanofbeans too and I love the instructions. However they are only the woven ones not the braided ones like these. These ones still confuse me.

hi, I overlooked the post with Olivia-mom. I have a question for you, What size to you cut your ribbon to. I think i understand about gluing them together but I don't want to waste any ribbon so I wanted to cut the right amount the first time. You half or open up at the joint where you quit gluing the ribbon at?

Seems it's only for 2 ribbon. 4 colors will be woven headband. Or you can use 2-tone ribbons so you have 4 colors.
