Default Flip flop frustration...

so the pair of flip flops I made my daughter last year that did fine through the summer now have spots on the thong where it looks like the E6000 leaked through, that's not the right description, but maybe you know what I mean?

There are dark spots on the ribbon that is wrapped around the thong. Then my own pair of flops fell apart! The ribbon just fell right off.

So I called all my customers who have purchased flip flops from me and they all swear theirs are great no problems???? I told them if they ever noticed anything to call me and I'd fix it for free.

I don't get it, I can't remember if I used the same tube of E6000 on everything or not? So angry, MY STUFF SHOULD LOOK CUTE!!! I'm the maker! HAHAA!

Here is what is happening to DDs....

they still look ok from the top but the sides look like there is something dark coming through? Maybe it's that ooze factor you guys were talking about.

I'm just sad my cute flip flops fell apart on me. :-(

First off, those are SUPER cute!

I see what you mean about the dark spots. When I used E6000 it didn't seep through. But, when I switched over to try the Loctitie, it did seep through. It didn't matter in the long run because nothing wound up working for me.

I'm going to eventually try a pair from Target to see if they have a high ooze factor too. If they do, then I'm giving up decorating toddler flip flops
