I've made them too, and you can get some doodads from Oriental Trading, they are called Clog embellishment doodads. You can also get a different brand from Michaels.

Those bows look great! I've been making small tuxedo style ones.

Re: Croc bows

How did you end up attaching the bows to the doo dads?

How cute! My girls and myself wear crocs all of the time. It would be neat to make bows to match the ones in their hair.

Re: Croc bows

Well I glued the center on to the bow and then glued the ends to the back of the bow and the just put glue on the flat part of the doo dad and glued the back of the bow on to the doo dad. ;)

I'd agree the one on the right.

Did you use hot glue or E6000?

Wendy523 05-04-2008 01:28

Re: Croc bows

I used E6000 to glue some bows to doodads for dd. They were holding up fine, but after about 3 weeks of daily use they are starting to come off of the doodad:( Need to find a better way to attach them.

ugghh, not happy to hear they are coming off with the E6000.... Do you think we have to wire them as well? I have to make some this afternoon, guess I will get some wire out too....
