Default Gluing flatbacks (resin centers and buttons without the loop on the back)

Can you glue resin centers and flat back buttons with regular hot glue?

Or do you have to use something like E6000? I'd really rather avoid that because of the perchlorate in it.

Is there anything you can do to increase the holding power with hot glue? Maybe if you scratch up the surface before gluing?

TIA,

Kel

I use hot glue too and never had any complaints. I've heard that some people put a drop of E6000 in the center, and then hot glue around it.

High temp hot glue works just fine.

Not much sense in a redundant reply here, except maybe to tally another vote in your decision...but I too use high temperature hot glue with no issues.
