Default Gotta figure this out, help me please!

I have my big girl panties on, so let it fly... I have been making the first style, but it was all free hand and hard to keep even, so I read free tut after free tut, and decided maybe the 2nd one is what I am actually trying to make. UGH, I don't know, critique away, if they both are horrible I am ready to hear it, but only if you can give me a hint on how to fix it! (ignore picture quality, camera is lost, but I think they show the style clearly enough although not colors)

I can't really tell which style bow you are trying to achieve, sorry. I am guessing by looking at the 2nd pic that it is the tbb (twisted boutique bow). if it is the bow you need to make the x bigger so the loops will stand up and make sure it's all even.

If it's a different style bow, I might be able to help better.

I'm not positive, but it looks like you didn't pull the loops apart the right way. What tut are you using?

Um, I guess I don't have a specific style, I just want to be able to create nice even bows. I get rave reviews and sell quite a few in person, but in photos and to me they aren't perfect, and I want perfect. Nice, even, perfectly aligned. The first one is the way I have been making them, I have no idea what it is called, it was me taking ribbon and twisting it till it made a bow, I didn't even realize there was different styles of bows till I started reading here.

Thanks for the help!

I was going to try to explain this to you, but I think a few pics would be better. I need to make a few of these anyway so I'll take some pics while I make them so you can see which way to pull your loops. It'll be sometime this evening, unless someone else is able to help you

Are you using any type of a template? Look on youtube and you'll see some tuts on how to make your own templates, I made some out of a gift box and they work great!

God bless you! I am off for a meeting in a few, but I would love help, and thank you for offering to help me. I have to do something to learn it, I can read something and teach others, but can't do it myself, I am such a brain with no coordination!

I have a good eye for colors and combinations, and do a great job of making creative eye catching bows, probably why they sell, it isn't my great job of looping them that is for sure! I refuse to sell to anyone that hasn't seen the bow in person till I can get this right. Now the other hair things I make are math, measure, lay, sew, those I have down to perfection, even just made a tool to help make my present bows faster!
