In this Florida heat I wouldn't trust only a glue gun so I'm going to use the E6000.

What are you planning on doing with yours? That sounds like a great deal!

Hot Glue will not hold the bows on. It peels away from the rubber/plastic

Yep, it sure does I tried to use it just to hold the ribbon on while I opened my E6000 and it fell off right away lol

I use E6000 and it holds up real well. My DD has had some that she wore for 2 years, they still hold up. Thats some good glue!!

I'm glad you shared this! It's encouraging to read that these might last. Or at least stay together until she outgrows them

you can line the plastic part with ribbon...i attach the korker on the ribbon lined part and then secure it with another piece of ribbon through the middle of the korker

When I make the korker i sew in a piece of ribbon at the bottom. I wrap that around the flip flop and use e6000 glue then when I wrap the rest of the ribbon piece around and up I can use hot glue to glue it to the ribbon wrapped part......I dont think that even makes sense...

These are both great ideas! Using the extra piece of ribbon would certainly help secure it.

I have read some ladies use zip ties for bows before adding the center ribbon. Not sure if that would work right for korkers though.

i have read that too but then wondered: where does the little nub go once you cut off the excess? if you leave it towards the bottom of the flip flop i think that it would hurt you and if you leave it on top then you wouldnt be able to cover it with ribbon
