Default Line clips "correctly"

No matter what I do, my clips are coming apart. I initially used Fabritac, but then they started separating (but not right away, it was months before I started noticing it) so I bought the double stick tape (Specialty tape brand) and I lined a bunch and put them in a box....just to find them separating also. Is there not a fool proof way to line these darn thing without them coming apart?

I use h ot glue I've never had a problem. I hear some ladies use a dab of hot glue along with the tape though...

I use hot glue.

If you use it in AC make sure it's not too cold, it can cool too fast to get a good grip.

I have found when using the DS tape, if I hot glue the end on the underside of the clip, it doesn't come apart & it still looks smooth on top. However, I still prefer hot glue for clips that will be hidden under bows. Hot glue is lumpier, but stronger

I agree with the other girls!! Hot glue gun!!! It takes a while to get it down, but then they are easy-peasy to make!! I do mine in 2 sections (inside and top, and then squeezy part and bottom) to keep the glue from cooling before I finish lining.

I have had ones with hot glue lift too. I switched to tape now. But some of them come off too. Maybe the glue and tape approach.

This used to happen to me all the time. I used hot glue. I was using hot glue purchased from HL. the name starts with an "S" but i cannot remember the name exactly. I was using a high temp glue gun too.
Every cilp I could pull apart easily!

Finally, I bought some glue at walmart. I think it starts with an "a". Sorry I'm not close to my stash, or i'd go look. It's a clear bag with burgundy on it....
This glue rocks. I also bought the glue gun from walmart with a small nozzle.
This duo has now made my clips super strong & I cannot pull anything I glue apart. If I do, it usually ends up ripping the fabric or making a huge blemish in whatever it was.

I hope that helps. It took me forever to figure this out! I almost stopped selling stuff b/c i thought everything was going to fall apart.
