Default Attaching ribbin roses

What is the best way to attach a ribbon rose to a headband? I JUST learned how to make them and want to make my daughter some headbands PLEASE HELP!!!

glue to headband and then glue on a felt circle to both finish the product off and to protect the wearers head

I glue felt to my flowers first then attach to headband and then do a small strip of felt to cover the actual headband. This makes it a little more sturdy, but it is your preference.

this is what i do as well.

i like putting felt backing on the flower b/c it seems to make the flower a bit sturdier as well.
