Default Sewn Tutu

Does anyone know of a good sewn tutu tut? Anyone ever have done the sewn type? I have done the tied ones and I would like to make a sewn one to see if it comes out different? Sorry for the crummy pic but here is my slip knot one.

I also only make the tied ones...
Cut tulle strips as for tied tutus (although don't have to allow for the extra 2-3" for the knot). Then do the following for single layer or double layer of tulle.
Fold your tulle strip/s in half and sew across approx 1" - 1.25" from the top (depending on elastic size used). Sew all your pieces like this - and then thread the elastic through.
And now that that is as clear as mud LOL
I am as yet still to try doing it this way.... to nervous of the learning curve, but I believe quicker than tying them?
