I find that although I use a lighter, my yama ribbon gets distorted much easier than schiff. I can quickly use a lighter and the schiff ribbon spikes will still look good. I am no good at using the woodburner for spikes, I was wasting alot of ribbon!

2" metal retangular ruler (can be found in HL around the doll house supplies) and a wood burner.

I have something else to share....I love this bowmaker. She is a great woman and came out with these. I am thinking of buying them. They look worth having. I remember her talking about coming up with something that would benefit us all. We would give our guesses and she hinted to what it would be but to no detail. I am so happy she went through with this.
