Now that makes marabou puffs sound less intimidating! Great tip.

Love all the tips!

What to add???

I use a peice of emory cloth to "Sharpen/clean" my wood burning tip. That and a saturated washcloth helps keep the tip clean and sharp and the end of the ribbon turn out a lot better!!

Great thread!!!

I always have hard time when making bottle caps and the resin drips .....and then they stick to the paper I line the table with and the papaer gets stuck under tha cap
so today I was starting to make some and tried a plastic place mat
(I don`t use them anymore hate plastic) it worked wondeful cause if the resin spills yo can peel the bottlecap with resin spill and all from the plastic and then just cut the spill from the cap ...and all the left spills on the place mat come right off...new to use again placemat

Not sure if someone already posted this tip - - but I learned it on here a while back. When making spikes, I always used to cut the V into the ribbon, but the much easier way is to fold the ribbon in half length-wise and then you only have to make 1 slanted cut to make the V and it's even! --- You can even use the wood burner too!

This is what I do. I leave it folded in half (though not tightly) and burn it with a lighter to avoid it "rounding" the V.
