I have never heard of the aquarium glue but am VERY interested. if you only put it on the inside top of the barrette...do you have to hold it open till it completely dries? hope that is not a silly question

I cut the ribbon, put on the sealant, let dry then line the clip

Thank you...I also saw something where you line the clip and hold it open with a wooden dowel at the base of the clip while the sealant dries. I am going to try your way as well as the other to see what works for me..thanks again

This is genius! Thanks for sharing.

I currently use Gripzies and am not happy. They're skinny so on double prong clips they don't fit well, they are thick but get smooshed quickly and don't look that nice, and in my daughter's hair (she doesn't even have fine hair) the clips *never* stay in place. ::sigh:: I bought a pack of about a million, too.
