I think I am hopeless

you are saying in between each knot, why would you go in between each knot and not just scrunch them up together and add more at the end, I think I am missing something

I think she means she puts the tulle through the first slip knot...between the knot and the elastic.

Maybe ha ha! I will have to play around with it and see if I get it. I'm thinking they are stacked on top of each other like the knots say the bottom layer was blue the middle green so it's knot would be on top of blue and then yellow on top of green I think I could be wrong, prlly wrong ha ha ha!

From reading the description of the tutu it's a sewn tutu which would make a difference in the outcome. I would search for a tut on a sewn one and try to add layers. A trail & error type thing. If you figure it out definitely let us know.

Just came across this link. I'm planning on making my girls some tutu's for a photo shoot and this really peaked my interest. Hope it helps.

I also wanted to share this link on cutting tulle. I haven't tried it, but it seems as though it would be extremely helpful and save on time.

ok, I was looking around and came across this tutu made by Your Sparkle Box (Love her items - She is awesome!!) and this tutu looks like it is a few layers of tulle knotted at the same time, and it still comes out very full! So I think I might just try it like this

I think your tutu looks really full. The other pic maybe it's a double layer or triple layer tutu...I can't figure those out either.
Maybe it's the angle of the other pic that makes it look fuller than yours also your angle of pic is different ykwim?

as for the petti tutus..I've been searching for a tut I'd buy one and couldn't find one. there is a thread on here discussing how the bottom was tied...if I find it I'll come back and post a link.

Good luck
