Default What is the difference?

Can you please tell me what is the difference between a stacked bow and an OTT (Over-the-top) hair bow?

Obviously, there is more stuff on the OTT bow, but when does it cross the line from one into the other?

Thanks!

I think that would be open to individual opinions...for me a stacked bow can be small, big or medium. An OTT bow would be one that is big big elaborate stacked w/embellishments added also and between 5 to 7" or bigger.

But this is jmo...and what I consider a OTT bow. If you were to search etsy..you will get lots of ideas or census..of what other's think and how they label bows.

Stacked bows are two bows one on top of the other.

OTT are usually two bows stacked with spikes and surrounds plus all the bells and whistles you can add to it.

I agree with Ronnie. This is how I perceive the difference as well.

I agree...it depend on the person's view. ^ This is what I think as well. Or stacked bow can be a single bow ontop of a set of spikes...no loops or anything

Edit: I make OTT bows, but I call them Stacked Bows, because I really don't like the "over the top" title lol but I guess they are technically ott bows. Example of mine is my avatar pic!!!

Aww thank you! I always love looking at your avatar...that color combo is stunning! I don't put base bows on mine anymore, the customers didn't seem to like the base bows...and well gotta give them what they want!
