Default Do You Have To Starch Korker Ribbon?

I am wanting to make a few korker clippies just for my DD because I have some extra 3/8" grosgrain ribbon. I was wondering if it is necessary to starch the ribbon or if it will hold its shape after baking without being starched? They don't need to be perfect because I am not selling them or anything, but I don't want them to lose shape and look really bad.

Thanks

Some of my better quality ribbon rolled tightly I dont. Most of the time I starch then bake. You can even hit them with starch after they are assembled too for the whole shape look.

I would... I only make korkers for my dd and starch before baking then starch them after they are assembled and hang them upsidedown to keep the shape

I don't starch mine. I ran over one with the car and it puffed back up.

I don't starch either. I have korker bows that I made well over a year ago and they've been yanked on by my daughter and they haven't lost their shape at all.
