Default What is this elastic and how do you do this?

I love these flowers, I have searched for a tut, I know there are other tuts that the flower is folded and place under sort of but it does not do this type of flower so a tut or link to buy a tut would be awesome.

Another thing where do I get this elastic and can you tell me the width?

Another thing on this type of headband when you have three or more flowers do you just take a huge piece of felt to keep them as three and then glue a little area to the headband and then glue another huge piece to the one on the flowers? I hope that makes sense

Here is the link to this:

There are tuts on etsy for rolled rosettes. That's all these are. They're just fold and roll as you go. Lots of hot glue
The felt on the back is how you keep them in place and it acts as a nice liner on the inside of the elastic.
The elastic is just fold over elastic. YOu can find it on etsy or shop here on hg for it. it's 5/8" wide usually.

You could do it with two pcs of felt but I think it's cleaner when you do top to bottom ~ flowers, then elastic, then felt. Totally up to you

Someone around here - i think mama j - sells the rolled satin rosettes

It's called Fold Over Elastic. (FOE). I use this a lot and it is super easy to cut and put together. There are usually destashes or group buys for these or you can purchase from other members who have them already put together but just make sure you check their feedback on here/etsy/ebay and any other places you can think of.

thanks so much the first link you have I have done ones that look like that was I just confused and didn't know that it was those because the satin ribbon vs the cotton fabric makes the flowers look sort of different from each other?
