Good luck to everyone trying it again! It really is easy once you get the hang of it. I am sure others do it differently but this way works for me. I used to use organza the same way, so you really can use any tie off method. I always sew it afterwards so I can make sure the loops are even first. I am going to up load the pics of the bitty bow next.

I can't use the big salon clips when doing this. They get in the way. Try using an alligator clip. It will be much easier to remove after the gator bite is on the bow.

Once again, your photos and directions are wonderful! You're a sweetheart

I think one of my problems is I'm not moving the bow far enough down to the end. I'm going to have to practice that.

I am assuming that when you say "load" you mean putting the bow into the gator bite. After you form your bow hold it with an alligator clip. Then open the gator bite and clamp it over the bow with the alligator clip in the center. Try to get the bow down about 1" or so from the open top and then carefully remove the alligator clip. I think one of my pictures shows what the gator bite looks like when it is clamped over the bow and alli clip. Hth!

Thank you for responding! I bought the GB and now have not been able to use it. I have seen the video's for putting the bow into it - it's the "tie off" ribbon that I'm not sure what to do with. It says - before you even start with the bow - to "load" the GB with the tie off ribbon??? Is this something special or do you just lay the tie off piece in the back of the gb?

Oh! I know what you mean now! In the videos she puts a piece of organza ribbon through the gator bite first and holds it near the handle (I am going by memory here). That is "loading" the GB with the tie off. Then she clamps it over the bow and ties it off. I don't pre-load with my tie off. I thread it through afterward and I use unflavored waxed dental floss instead of organza. In my first set of photos posted in this thread (for the full size bow) you can see how I do it. It works very well for me.
