Default when using a flower?

Such as a peony with the green backing and stem..do u disassemble the whole flower and glue each piece back together? Or do u keep the green backing on minus the stem?

I always take the backing off and then glue. If you leave the back on the flower will not lay flat.

Welcome to the forum. You'll learn a bunch by using the search tool at the top of the page. This question has been answered so many times, that you will learn it and much much more (and look more educated to the ladies who have thousands of posts) if you educate yourself by reading older threads as much as you can before asking tons of basic questions.

I take the green backing off. I think it makes a nicer final appearance.
