i personally use a sticker maker to glue my image to the bottlecap and then i bought a glaze at HL for about $4-5 and put into a tip bottle and i just put a small amount and then 'paint' the glaze around the edges to seal the image and 'paint' the front with the glaze and that has worked for me...HTH

I have used mod podge but if you brush it on, it leaves brush marks, I have used it because on some of mine, I can glue a tiny rhinestone on it. I first glue the image on bottlecap with craft glue then let dry for 24 hours, the brush the modpodge on and let that dry 24 hours. But on most of my bottlecaps I used the circle drops (forgot the actual name), which I purchase from one of hg ladies on here. Love them!

the thing with using modgepodge as the final sealer is that it isn't water proof, so if the kid sticks the cap in their mouth they will ruin the cap

Yea I just use my sticker machine and the drops I buy on here. I'd like to try a few with resin, but I can't seem to find a sealer that works, all of mine always get "wet spots" on the image after.

What's a good waterproof sealer? I know to use resin I'll have to use the sealer in the front and back of the image and not the sticker maker.

Modge podge is not always available here so I just ...give them 3 coats of white elmers glue before the resin....but again the resin I use down here might be different from what you guys use...but I think it might be even stronger so I guess the elmer glue should work for you guys too
