Do a search here on both systems. You'll find a lot of opinions and advice

I have both. Bought one outright and then bought another through a destash here. I love my NBNG templates, it did take me a little bit to figure out the twisted ones but eventually I got it. One thing I LOVE about the BBM is their surround templates! Perfect every time! No marking, just wrapping the ribbon around the template!
Might want to see if anyone has one to destash and maybe save some money?

I recently purchased the nbng templates. I am having a great time because u can make pretty much every bow with them. Now with the twisteds they are wrapped on the template but then taken off to twist. It has helped me greatly because I was having a hard time with uneven loops. Other than that it is sewn and twisted off of the template. Hth.

I have the NBNG and I can make a great twisted bow...or in my opinion mine turn out good..lol I'm not comparing myself to people that have been making bows for years though...I've only been doing this for 6 mos tops..and I think they are good for that amount of time. It's definately worth spending the money on it imo...

I dont like my BBM twisteds. I think they are kind of time consuming and hard to keep the ribbon in the template to be honest. (really just a lot of work to figure out, hand holding, alligator clip positioning etc) I would recommend getting Daisys tut on them! She shows the figure 8 method, but I swear, she shows where to sew etc and it is the ONLY way that I can do where I like my twisteds. Anything else, I just dont think they look very good.

I think you can buy her Ebook for like $15ish?

I wish she had more sizes in her templates for them because I use NBNG for my twisted and have to mix and try to match the surrounds from hers. I need to make them in different sizes. Just haven't yet.

Daisy's book from Lil Hiccup? Those are not the classic twisted bows, that is they don't have the little tail that hangs off on the front. I have been told it is a basic boutique, not a twisted at all. Very good tut though!
