Default How to make Turtle Clip?

I really want to learn how to make this really cute turtle I've been seeing and just can't seem to get the shell right. Is it just knots in a row that pile up on each other or is it woven? Any advice or instructions would be greatly appreciated. I've posted a picture I found on Etsy of and example of what I'm referring to, it's not my creation.
Thanks!

I donīt think anyone must get offended. Thatīs why we are here for: to help each other. Sometimes Iīm also affraid of asking how other ladies in here make their stuff because I donīt want anyone to get mad or make anyone uncomfortable with my questions.

Great instructions Heather!! I'm not sure how you would think someone would get offended over that??

I did create instructions for a couple of gals who asked for them a while back, and if anyone is interested in them just PM me and I will send them your way. It is the first set of instructions I have ever made so they may be lacking!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!

Edith
