Default Stiffer felt

OK, I have a lady who is wanting me to cut her TONS of flowers out of felt using my sizzix. BUT she is wanting me to use regular craft felt and then stiffen it somehow. Would it work if I just sprayed with heavy starch? I dont figure I can bake them(correct me if I am wrong). Has anyone tried to do this. I would just buy better felt, but she has already bought this and is wanting to use it. TIA

Serenity

Have you cut poly craft felt on your machine? I have had a HECK of a time with it - doesn't cut through all the way. I have never stiffened craft felt, but I certainly wouldn't bake it - would melt as it is basically plastic. As far as ironing???? Not sure - I would put your iron on poly setting spray it and give it a try. Might melt it thoguh.

I would atleast try the starch i think any kind of heat at all would just melt it and if it doesn't work let her know and maybe she will want you to use the stiffer stuff
