Default Does any one knows how to make this...?

i love this idea. i want to make few for my kids. I'm not everyday sewing person, but i can do basic staff and i was wondering if she use a fabric stabilizer? if it is, then which one works best? it looks like something hard between fabrics.

These are cute. Have you checked the YCMT website to see if they have the instructions there?

I have seen some around at markets and sometimes they are really soft and possibly only have some sort of thin filler stuff inside. Maybe she has used interfacing between the material but only a soft one so that it still moves easily but holds its shape?

I have not made one, but I have a couple tutorials bookmarked that may say if/what kind of materials they use. I also remember someone mentioning using felt as a stabilizer for something like this awhile ago. I would think you'd need to use the stiff kind, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, hope one of these helps:

Those are cute. Kind of like a kid's version of leather organizer / memo pad holder.

I don't know how to make one, but thank you for posting the link. I'm going to purchase one for my 2-year-old daughter to help keep her occupied while visiting me in the hospital (c-section 2/15)
