Default thread for tying bows

Please don't get thread. Make sure you get bead cord or stretch cord. I bought some cord the other day.... and it was very thin and kept breaking while I was trying to tie bows. Arrrrrrrrrr.

I use upholstery thread that is found with the regular thread -- it's just thicker and more durable. Been working great for me for over a year

Well the stuff I got was cheap. Every time I pulled it broke. I'm sure there is better thread. I have not tried the stuff I bought today yet... but plan on later trying it. Looks like it will work. What does everyone else you? Thanks.

I saw on here to use dental floss & that seems to be working better than sewing thread or elastic thread. I've only been doing this a month so we'll see if it lasts long term.
