Question What's the next best glue after E6000?

I love the holding power of E6000 but the tube solidifies on me not long after using it the first few times. I have to throw it away because it becomes completely unusable

What else works as well? What is the best glue for fabric/ribbon that isn't hot glue?

Thanks girls, I appreciate your help

I really hope someone has an answer! I despise the tacky glue and I have 2 bottles of the E6000 that I just don't like

I can tell you one thing: NOT Fabritac. Every bow I made with it fell apart after a few weeks. When that glue dries, after some time it just goes brittle.

I only use Fabri-Tac as a temporary holder really. Never as a permanent adhesive.

Yeah, I learned the hard way. I was trying to get away with not using hot glue, because I tend to burn myself. Now I'm back to burning myself. Lol!

Aw, I'm sorry about that (hugs!)

I just loathe the lack of control with hot glue. No matter how careful I am, I get those @#!^&@ strings!!

Arrrghh!

I really want to use a tube glue... hence the thread

i don't know personally but when i worked at michaels 'gorilla glue' was the best selling glue they had besides e-6000. no idea what the customers were using it on but i sold so much of that stuff.

there are a million glues there though...
