Default Using eyelash yarn in bows...

how do you ladies work it into the bow? I want to use it but I'm not sure how and I have a ton of it.

Someone posted pics of this stuff used in their korker bows and it was super cute. I tried it and mine looked horrible though!

I seem to remember someone saying that they crocheted the eyelash yarn into something resembling a marabou type puff. I'm guessing you could crochet a square or a circle but a circle would probably be easier.

If so the question is what gauge to use. That's something you could play with to get the effect you want.

I have wired eyelash yarn/ribbon?!? if that makes sense, the eyelashes come off a thin wire, sold in the ribbon dept @ Michael's.

I've tried to use it to make surrounds but it just bends weird etc. I've glued it here and there along the outside of the ribbon of a bow and it was ok, probably would work if I kept at it.

My best success was making some of the loopy style bows and sticking it in here and there, or making it into little loops/teardrops and sticking it in, looks adorable and slightly unexpected that way!
